PLAZAMEDIA GmbH, an Constantin Medien AG company, is Germany’s largest producer of sports TV and one of the leading full-service providers for TV and new media. The approx. 230 permanent and over 700 freelance staff of the PLAZAMEDIA GmbH are the company’s most valuable capital. With its OB Production, Studio Production, Postproduction and Creative Services units, PLAZAMEDIA is a one-stop shop for all production services – internationally too.
The company’s positioning as an international full-service provider is also reflected in the investment structure of the PLAZAMEDIA GmbH. Fully-owned subsidiary PLAZAMEDIA Austria produces, among other things, the matches of the Austrian football leagues. And with the founding of PLAZAMEDIA SWISS AG, based in Zurich, the enterprise is continuing its successful internationalisation strategy and intensifying its partnership with tv productioncenter zürich (tpc).
PLAZAMEDIA is run by Florian Nowosad (CEO), Zeljko Karajica (COO) and Markus Maximilian Sturm (CFO).

This includes live productions of top domestic and international sporting events such as UEFA EURO 2008. But we also specialise in the field of entertainment, having produced such high-calibre events as the Digital, Life, Design Conference 2009 and the Electronic Beat Festival, to name just a couple.
In our 3,000-plus m2 of studio space we also create well-known and popular TV formats such as “Hausmeister Krause” for SAT.1 and “Bundesliga – Der Sonntag” for DSF.

PLAZAMEDIA’s leadership in technical innovation consistently proves to be a key competitive advantage. The company is benefiting from the growing digitisation of the media landscape, proactively staying abreast of changes with our eCenter - the first of its kind in the market. This digital service platform is an all-round solution for the efficient production, management, archiving and distribution of multimedia content.
Since 2008 we have also been offering customised solutions for Internet TV. Our high-tech video portal is packed with features and based on a unique infrastructure which allows fully integrated services. This tool also allows our small and medium-sized customers to adapt a “white label” platform to their needs without having to make large-scale investments themselves. This reduces the threshold for profitable business models for smaller customers. Our development of high-performance camera systems also gets us consistently impressive feedback.
The company’s service portfolio is supplemented by further innovative products such as LED displays and the Griffner EventBox.
