Ismaning, 23rd July 2008 – The German Football Association (DFB) has commissioned CREATION CLUB to design the complete TV image for its newly established 3rd Division. The creative agency for integrated communication will develop the full on-air graphics package, designed to ensure a high brand awareness for the 3rd Division as a DFB product through a unique visual identity. CREATION CLUB will set the sophisticated package to specially composed music, as well as producing the entire animated information graphics with lower thirds, information tables and on-screen score displays for live matches and highlights.

Zeljko Karajica, Managing Director of CREATION CLUB, explains: "We are giving the top league of the German Football Association a brand new look. With this new image, we are creating an unmistakeable brand and making the 3rd Division appear unique. This also means we are significantly involved in the positioning and development of this DFB branded product."

The new 3rd Division kicks off with interesting fixtures in its debut season 2008/2009. It is the third-highest league in German football and simultaneously the highest German division under the umbrella of the DFB. The opening match will be between FC Rot-Weiss Erfurt and SG Dynamo Dresden on Friday 25 July. In the first season the DFB will rely mainly on broadcaster ARD, who will present highlights of three matches before the football report "Sportschau" on Saturdays. This will be supplemented by reports in the regional programmes as well as a match roundup in the Sunday edition of "Sportschau" and optionally also in the ZDF sports report.

The opening match of the season on 25 July between Rot-Weiß Erfurt and Dynamo Dresden will be shown live on MDR at 8.30 p.m.
