Ismaning, 6 March 2008 – Florian Nowosad, who ran PLAZAMEDIA Austria together with Wolfgang Vala since the company was founded in May 2006, has given up his position at the helm of the company. Now that the setup work is complete, he will concentrate on his role as partner in the company and his activities as CEO of PLAZAMEDIA GmbH, Germany. Robert Adams has been appointed as the new CEO of PLAZAMEDIA Austria and will immediately take over operative responsibility together with Wolfgang Vala, thus driving the successful further development of the company.  

Robert Adams (40) was Head of Production Management at PLAZAMEDIA from 2001 to 2005. From January 2005, as Head of OB Production at PLAZAMEDIA GmbH, he was responsible for all outside broadcasts in the field of sport, entertainment and lifestyle.

PLAZAMEDIA Austria Ges.m.b.H., a subsidiary of PLAZAMEDIA GmbH in Ismaning, nr. Munich, Germany, was founded in May 2006 and is Austria's largest broadcaster-independent sports-TV producer. Based in the Viennese film studios "Filmstadt Wien", the production company offers the full range of staffing and technical services - from OB, studio and post-production right through to programme and new media production. PLAZAMEDIA Austria's clients include Premiere Austria, ATV and Red Bull. The company is managed by Wolfgang Vala and Robert Adams.
