Ismaning, 2 July 2010 – The first FIBA U17 Basketball World Championship will take place in Hamburg from 2-11 July. From 9 July, PLAZAMEDIA as host broadcaster will produce all quarter-final and semi-final matches from the tournament as well as the final for the client Basketball Event GmbH.

Sports-TV producer PLAZAMEDIA will have a crew of around 20 at the venue Sporthalle Hamburg and will capture the matches from this highlight of the basketball calendar from various perspectives with 6 cameras. A total of 12 teams will be represented at the U17 World Championship, including Germany, whose team trained by Frank Menz is one of the insiders’ favourites for the title.
