Ismaning, 7 October 2008 – PLAZAMEDIA Swiss AG has expanded its management: Robert Adams is now joined by Christoph Roost to run the Swiss subsidiary of PLAZAMEDIA GmbH. Christoph Roost was most recently responsible, as overall head of the sport unit of Ringier TV and Sat.1, for the TV broadcasting of the football World Cup 2002, the "live ran" football matches on Sat.1 and, at Ringier TV, the startup project "Sport" of pay-TV broadcaster "Teleclub". At media house Ringier, Roost was also project manager for the "EURO 2008-Sporttalk" format from "Blick".

PLAZAMEDIA Swiss AG opened for business in August this year in the media centre of Zurich. This move continued PLAZAMEDIA GmbH’s successful internationalisation strategy and added another company to the group comprising CREATION CLUB, PLAZAMEDIA Austria and MUC Media.

PLAZAMEDIA Swiss is currently producing weekly matches from the Axpo Super League, Switzerland’s top football league. PLAZAMEDIA and tv productionscenter zürich (tpc) have already signed an exclusive partnership for the 2007/2008 season, which they will also continue in the 2008/2009 season. As well as the Axpo Super League, PLAZAMEDIA Swiss’s other production achievements this year have included the Swiss Cup Final in Basel, a Champions League qualifier featuring FC Basel, the Women’s Cup Final in Bern and the Victoria Cup in Bern.
