Media Asset Management (MAM)

Media Asset Management of the eCenter comes with open interfaces for import and implementation, thus creating the ideal prerequisites for customised solutions. The management of metadata and workflows via the MAM system ensures transparent materials management and allows for fast access to data and content. User-specific interface layouts can be defined to accommodate different tasks.

Web-based Media Asset Management

Thanks to the innovative eCenter client, PLAZAMEDIA customers have access to their content at all times. Materials can be searched, selected, viewed in a browser and compiled online.

Generation of edit decision lists

Digitised material can be edited from a PC workstation in low-res quality. The EDLs thus generated can then be used for the high-res material transfer and subsequent work processes.

Workflow control

The innovative workflow control of the eCenter allows for the programming of customer-specific processes. Predefined transfer and transcoding processes, for example, can be easily triggered this way.

Customer-specific data models

PLAZAMEDIA allows its customers to use their own nomenclature and individual data models. The Media Asset Management system, part of the eCenter, can be configured freely and adapted to customer requirements.

Documentation at segment and scene level

In order to locate individual segments or scenes in the content, the video material can be annotated and indexed with timecode references to any depth as required.

Content search

The comprehensive search options live up to all expectations and range from simple full-text search via user-specific search interfaces to linked specialist searches on the entire data model. Recurrent searches can be stored in search profiles.
